My Journey with Hyperhidrosis
and the Inspiration behind SOKY PRO
Here’s my story: Our journey began with a personal struggle—a condition called palmar hyperhidrosis that causes excessive sweating in my hands. Hyperhidrosis affected my daily life, from the simplest interactions to moments I can’t forget. One of those moments was when a niece of mine reached out to hold my hand, and I said no and told her to hold on to my flannel instead. Are you kidding me? Surely, hyperhidrosis can’t be that disruptive—yet there I was, saying no to a child’s innocent request.
This experience drove me to think differently about how we keep up with our therapeutic sessions. Traditional approaches often come with limitations—being inconvenient, costly, or simply not practical for everyone. I envisioned a solution that was wearable, accessible, and empowering. And so, NM Thera was born, a company dedicated to creating innovative wearables that seamlessly fit into daily life.
Our flagship product, the SOKY, is designed with people like me in mind. It combines soaking with wearable technology to offer a discreet and comfortable way to manage sweating. With SOKY, I hope to help others feel confident in those everyday moments we all deserve to embrace.
