My Journey with Hyperhidrosis
and the Inspiration behind SOKY Rx
Here’s my story: I’m Kenny Pham, founder of NM Thera, and this journey began with a personal struggle—a condition called palmar hyperhidrosis that causes excessive sweating in my hands. Hyperhidrosis affected my daily life, from the simplest interactions to moments I can’t forget. One of those moments was when a niece of mine reached out to hold my hand, and I said no and told her to hold on to my flannel instead. Are you kidding me? Surely, hyperhidrosis can't be that disruptive that it would cause one to say no to a child's innocent request.
This experience drove me to think differently about treatment options. Traditional therapies for hyperhidrosis come with limitations—often inconvenient, costly, or simply ineffective for some people. I envisioned a solution that was wearable, accessible, and provided freedom. And so, NM Thera was born, a company dedicated to creating innovative, wearable therapies that don’t just treat symptoms but fit seamlessly into daily life.
Our flagship product, the SOKY Rx glove, is designed with people like me in mind. It combines soak therapy and electrotherapy to provide relief in a discreet, comfortable wearable. With SOKY Rx, I hope to help others regain control and feel confident in those everyday moments that we all deserve to embrace.
